I applied for a DiscoverIt last Friday and also a Barclaycard Rewards MC. Both were denied, the DiscoverIt initially and a few days for the letter to get here from Barclay.
Today, I called the Recon number for both and was denied again and I noticed that some members call more than once, so, I called back this evening.
Here is my question...when I called back to Barclays, the rep could see that I had called earlier in the day and he could not reverse that decision.
I don't understand how people are calling multiple times to the recon numbers if the computer they use know that you called before. He wouldn't even go any further in the conversation after he saw that I called already.
Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
