I recently applied for Regions Cash Rewards and BBVA Clear Points.
At first I was conditionally approved for both, Regions for $5000 and BBVA for $7500. But both banks required additional identity verifications which would require me to physically go into their local branches.
Due to my age and multiple health issues I am as high risk as they come for this dreaded Covid-19, and I decided to pass. Unfortunate but I will live.
Still since I was approved credit wise, I want to provide some DPs:
AAOA: 7 years
Clean files
Untilizations: < 1% (not a big spender)
Regions pulled TransUnion 790, and it is now the only inquiry on TU.
BBVA pulled Experian 764, and it now has 4 inquiries including BBVA.

Congrats on the approval! Are neither FIs willing to make exceptions for the ID issues they're having? My primary FI is making exceptions for members to do DocuSign and electronic submission of certain docs (but not all). Either way, I hope you stay safe and take care of yourself.
Well congratulations on the conditional approvals!
Congrats Maybe ask if you can send in additional docs and maybe take picture with your id so they see its you?.
Stay healthy and thanks for sharing

congrats! hate to see those hp go to waste, especially since you had so few to begin w. maybe they can make an exception. did you ask what you actually have to do? some banks are available via drive-thru. see if that will be acceptable? but, i actually have avoided drive-thrus bc, even if i wore gloves, the thought of trying to deal w a bulky money carrier/tube that others have handled freaked me out.
Congratulations on your approval! 👍
Congrats on your approval. Its unfortunate, despite the HP, you couldn't go through with it. IMO, you made the right call. You can always get another card, another life, not so much!
keep safe out there!
