Re: Rejected from Alliant Visa Signature

As mentioned above OP, and for better results, let your newest accounts age to leverage overall AAoA. IMO, 9-12 months from your most recent accounts can improve the odds. You're already doing a great job with utilization and the products you've acquired. Possibly entertain SP CLIs as well.

Keep in mind that if more accounts get added (inclusive of inquiries) then this places your goal further out.

Re: Rejected from Alliant Visa Signature

Yeah, I regularly ask for SP CLI's from my Discover cards, and just today realized that Citi was finally willing to do a CLI with only a soft pull, and I took advantage.

I'm fine with the cards I have now for the most part, so I'm willing to hold off on applying for any others if it means getting the Visa Signature. I have a business where I buy and sell retail goods online, so I spend a ton of money each month, and the extra .5% of cashback would actually be huge for me.

Are there any other cards that offer unlimited cashback 2.5% or more? I know about all the category bonus cards and stuff like that, but they're all limited. I'm looking for an unlimited cashback option that's better than my Citi Double Cash Card, so anything above 2%, but the Signature was the only card I could find that meets that criteria.

Sorry for the decline. You'd do well to call and speak with someone at Alliant as they can answer your specific questions and tell you what to do to make the next application an approval.

Best wishes.
