Hi all,
I'm preparing to reapply for Chase Sapphire Preferred within the next 3 months and I can't decide if I should request CLIs on my two eligible cards this month. How much credit is too much for my income?
Right now, I have $16k credit across 3 accounts. If I got a large increase from USAA (+$10k) and a reasonable one from Discover (+$300), it'd put me at $27k across 3 accounts. Is that too much credit for my income to be issued new cards?
My Cards:
Income: $85k
Rent: $700/mo
Scores: 750 Experian, 730 Citi App, 730 Discover App
Utilization: ~12% overall
Inquiries: 2 EQ, 4 EX, 0 TU in past 2 years
Thanks!
Thanks for the replies!
Have you already tried a SP CLI for your Citi card?
Yes, got to it as soon as it turned 12 months
I decided to bite the HP from USAA. WOW!! Absolute MONSTER CLI!!
I called Discover to ask about CLI and they said it'd be another 2 or 3 days before it's eligible. I'll do their SP then.
This will surely help my chances with Chase.
