Ritz Carlton still pending

So I applied for the ritz on 12/19, and I didn't get instant approval but the 2 week message from robo lady. I called back to check a week later and still the same message.

Saw that a member here called verifications and asked if they needed info, so I did that, but the lady was going to redirect me to the ritz Carlton department, but she comes back and tells me her colleagues are going over the app.

The message is still at 2 weeks right now.

Should I wait it out? Or give them another call??

Yeah, I was thinking of just waiting it out as well since I called once and they told me that it's still under review

So I called again just now, and the automated system told me I would be notified in 30 days.

30 days yield approvals most times. You should be good. Last few approvals have been 30 day messages for me. What you don't want to typically hear is 7-10 day message as that is usually the kiss of doom with a few exceptions meaning if it is in verification dept. otherwise it is a denial with 7-10 day

Just wonder how many days you stay at Ritz?

I know the other way is to use the Marriott. But with the SPG+Marriott, SPG may be a better option.

Since I already have the CSR, I'm cautious about the Ritz card now. More leaning on the SPG. No hurry right now.
