Must wear pimp suit when applying in person. Reply back with results. 😂If it would get me the approval, I'd be in for it.
For a great SL, heels of shoes must have goldfish—live goldfish 😂🤣
And for a low APR, bring your own theme music.
Calyx,
Ive never been inside a SDFCU branch yet. I just had to submit the docs and POI online once. When I first applied for a CC with them it was declined. I reconned it and was approved for $1000 a few years. After a few annual CLI’s, it’s over $10k. I do get some of the preapproved check loans twice a year. They have never asked for income proof after the first time.
They are are extremely conservative, but they have been great to me.

Although I think PenFed may be on a different level of conservative, it seems that SDFCU may be in competition.
Not sure if its a UW risk management or prestige campaign. Could be a bit of both. NFCU seems to be doing just fine in their efforts in attracting new customers and staying viable.
I still think @Calyx should take it up a notch to differentiate himself for the in-person visit. All suggestions so far have been on point and maybe for added effect bring along a Pam Greer look-a-like in period wardrobe.
Much luck!

FYI: I have absolutely no problems humiliating myself in public, and I can sew like a maniac; if I thought walking in in a costume or bright outfit would get me (positive) attention, I'd be in.

In that case posting a picture here would be mandatory.

I still have my Statue of Liberty costume in the closet, that seems to be in theme. I've also got my ren-faire stuff, my Medusa costume, my Bene Gesserit costume, my Jean Luc Picard costume, AND my Influenza one.. the older ones have been cannabilized/repurposed, but I've got options, a will, and time in the Garden to prepare
Now I have images of a CSR or UW having to report why they preapproved me/gave me some startlingly high inappropriate limit "But she threatened to Gom Jabbar us!"

Just based on the themes I'd say start with the ren-faire stuff.
