I applied FNBO last month and curious if they are sensitive with recent inquiries but i see you got Double Cash the month before applying US bank cash+.

I just apped for Citi DC and they pulled EXP with 3 INQ in less than a month and 4 INQs over 6 months.... also with 4 new reported accts not even a month old..... instant 6k approval, recon'd to 10k
your signature already has Citi DC and Freedom, so did you already apply and get approved?

what was your score for citi double cash ? did you app US bank cash +, freedom and sapphire preferred the same time ? i cant recon because citi uses EQ for credit limit increase and thats my worst. Recon'd 15k. let them counter. i do 20k.
Of all the research i seen all around myfico and other forums....
less than 5k - increased to 10k
5k - increased to 15k
10k increased to - 20k.
pulls EQ for credit limit increases.

The next day I called Chase: 888-245-0625 (Credit Analyst - Recons)
asked for status and was no go (turned down) citing declinincy from before with Chase. I reckoned citing the person on the account isn't me. 20 minutes back and forth to several departments they decided to launch an investigation probe on my behalf and if in my favor will honor and approve my application. May take up to 90 days for notification on the status. Wary whether they just closed my Freedom i called the status line the next day and it was still active. Thank you all and hope this serves everyones purpose in completing your future applications. thank you

Luckily, i was not double pulled for Freedom and Sapphire. That is why i applied for Sapphire just hours after Freedom registered. Figured 2 limits for 1 inquiry is well worth the ulitization. Although i was turned down for Sapphire, It does not hurt applying Sapphire hours after Freedom since they used the same scores from previous app. I would advised they may use the same report for 30 days.
Congrats!!! ![]()
