Should I apply for quicksilver or q1

RIght now I got a recent boost in my credit scores (in sig). What would my chances be of getting accepted for a quicksilver card? Or should I just apply for a quicksilver one?

Current Credit Score: Equifax 639 | Transunion 628 | Experian 642

Let us know how it goes. I am also interested in Quicksilver, but at the end of the year. Good luck!

Can't see scores. If your score isn't good to excellent then go with qs1.

With your scores I would try for the Quicksilver One. Wait until your scores improve significantly and then try to PC to the Quicksilver.

My scores were between 610-620 when I PC'd my capital one platinum to a regular capital one Quicksilver. I don't know if it was easier b/c it was a PC and not a new account, but I would apply for the regular QS right off the bat and skip the QS1.

Huh? Any evidence of this happening? I've never seen someone get countered with the lower tier card, and a quick search of the forums shows little in the way of supporting this claim.
