So I've been looking at Chase cards for awile and have got a few pre-selected mailers with a solid APR not a range for the freedom unlimited. That freedom unlimited is a duplicate of what I already have tho.
With that said the Freedom Flex does seem to offer quite a bit of value and would be a nice addition.
I'm well under 5/24 720ish FICO scores and my util being low. No negatives and a few months over a year of history. HPs i guess are considered low being Eq 4 Tu 2 Ex 3. My income however is quite low due to my low living costs and still living at home.
Thinking about applying but thinking my chances will be silm. Still thinking on the side that I should hold off.
Thoughts?
They dont usually check income... *wink wink* lol...
Bank with them for a time, get the new checking bonus, and wait for in branch offers.

With a Thin profile you definitely should open a checking account and do some banking with them, Direct Deposits etc for 6months atleast then you would most likely get in with a thin file

Some good points.
Sounds like I should just wait out and let some inqs drop and history to build a bit. Also hopefully the COVID situtation gets better and things begin to return to normal.
Not like Chase is going to get rid of the card or offers anytime soon so no reason to rush it.
