Unfortunately for me there are no branches around anywhere in Texas from what I'm aware of.... ![]()

@Anonymous wrote:It depends on what you want. I have the Business Flex Perks and it one of the best cards I have. Some of the benefits I actually used all year round and the extra 20k points which is worth $400 in travel is icing on the cake.
I've been wanting the Flex card for a very long time now but I'm scared they will want my EX which they cannot have
They pulled TU for me here in CT.
Lucky! I've been 1 out of 3 as far as approvals with them over the past 2 years, everytime it was an EX pull for me in TX
Hmm... I won't be happen with an EX pull LOL.. So sick of them all pulling EX for the apps..
I almost throw up everytime someone pulls my EX report

Like you mentioned, it definitely isn't a prequal. With how much the Cash+ has been nerfed, I say move along.
If you don't have the Cash+, it's rather hard to make a final determination about it.
The 5% categories may have been reduced from what they were earlier, but you can still build a card that gets 5% on Department stores, Sporting Goods stores, Bookstores for Amazon purchases, and several other potentially useful categories, depending on the cardholder spend requirements.
My argument for it: It means you don't have to open any store credit cards because you can work this card to give you the 5%.
The 2% category for dining, or groceries, or gas, provides another benefit for what could be a large spend area.

I definitely want one of them in the future. If they pull EQ or TU I'd get approved easily but if they hit up my EX my INQs will scare them away. Have a lot over the last two years but luckily I hit that 2 months ago and now they are slowly falling off.
