Wouldnt have apped for it.. but this is one case id keep it open until the AF becomes due.... since you opened it midas well get some utiility out of the fees you paid... even if its just to warm the sock drawer a bit... This is definitely just a place holder untill you leave the garden.
Yes i see some of the myfico'ers i know give me the once over for that.. its def the first to go right when you consider apping again and definitely before the years up...
Yes i know. im the one whose like close Credit One ... Its still true, every time a Credit One or FP card is closed, a credit angel gets their wings =)...
See what your scores are like in nov and dec, try to get into the AZEO situation by then if your not already.... there might be some room for some SP luv on your cards, least the non-secured ones... and take it from there....
Still wouldnt go on a spree... esp in todays current financial market.. perhaps consider picking up a card, maybe two.. But even a 6-9 month time out is not long by gardening standards.. the advantage of a year is your HP hit has lessened as well.... Takes 2 to remove them but one year to soften the impact...
