This is why I don't tell people to use the pre-qual. It holds you back from the cards you can actually get ![]()

You don't want the others to report...that is the point of doing a spree. App now before they report.
If you wait for the new cards to report, you will be stuck in 6 months of gardening before being able to apply again.
Get the Venture, Walmart and Amazon. THEN you garden for 6 months, no need to sell yourself short.
Just did and got approved for 10,000...Thanks guys...I love this board.......Going in the garden for 6-12 Months

OP, Think through your app decisions on your own.
You are getting encouragement from people with dozens of cards each. They know how to get cards. That knowledge is useful, but should only be applied if it fits your current situation and goals.
If it were me, I'd stop now, because the PRG and possibly other cards come with bonus spend requirements, and will put many more cards in your wallet than you are used to now. The Venture will be there later, if you decide to go for it.
Given a slightly blemished past with CapOne, I would also be sceptical of the promise of $10k - $20k. Only an actual app will reveal any limit, but don't be surprised if it is $5k due to limited recent history with them, and only having one card reporting. Even the $5k is a speculation, only CapOne knows for sure. But the Venture comes with its' own heavy spend requirement to get the bonus.
