Re: So, Penfed denied me.

I know but every cs rep that I spoke to told me that wasn't necessary lol. I have since been added to the utility bills. No other bank has ever asked for proof of residency since the address on my credit report matches the one they sent the offer to which matches my dl. They should have just told me that a utility bill was the absolute only proof of address acceptable instead of giving me the run around.

Utility bills ( proof of residence )  is the easiest thing to get done.. all youd have to do is add yourself onto a TV bill or Cell phone bill or something similar with your address that shows on your drivers license.... I was asked for Proof of residence when leasing our current mercedes back in 2018. I called my Cable provider and added myself on my wife's account ( finished in 5 minutes ).

Do you know if this can be done with a totally different person, meaning a non spouse or non family member or someone who doesn't actually live there? I am an expat. My official US address is my Power of Attorney's home address. I occasionally run into this problem where I need a utility bill for proof of address, and obviously I don't have one. I'm wondering if we could just add my name to one of his utility bills.
