Soft Pulls

Do some credit card companies do a "soft Inquiry" as opposed to a "hard inqury" if so what card companies do that? I ask because I already have some hard inuires on my report and I wanted to get a CLI on some of my other cards and was going to wait a number of months..however I thought I saw in reading some other post that some people were able to get a CLI by having the credit card company do a "Soft Pull"

Comenity does if you use the shopping cart trick

Discover is a good one!  Especially now.  They've been giving 500, 1,000, up to 4k in cli's with a sp about every 17 days.  Cap One does but it's usually every 6 months.  Citi will do the same and it's 6 months also.  Look on here for the 3xcli Amex sp. Comenity gives me one every 3 months if I ask.  Sychrony is another.  Sometimes 3 or 6 months inbetween.  All sp's.  You can look on here to see what stores are Comenity & which are Sychrony.  They are quite a few!
