Re: Spree vs Snail

Fraud prevention dept ('verification' no) say it's not an ID issue, lending dept needs to make a decision. Chose not to be transferred.

Waiting is really hard. If I call lending dept at least I get a decision...

It's not that I need a Freedom, it's just a card I think I'll keep forever. I'm fine with transferring credit from the IHG to the Freedom..

Cards: BCE 24k 5/'17 | CF 12k 10/'15 | IHG 12k 10/'15 | HH 6k 6/'18 | DS It 6k 3/'15 | TR 5k 11/'15
Scores: 760-770 | Inquiries: 0-1 | Utilization: 0-10% | AAoA: 3yrs | Bank: Ally | CU's: Navy & Pentagon

Argh, they pulled all three creditors. Probably wouldn't have pulled TU as well if I wouldn't have gone for the freedom too, oh well.

Glad I checked my reports.

Thanks so much for helping me out Smiley Happy

Which card do you suggest? Barclay? Arrival or Arr Plus?

Re: Spree vs Snail

You're going to miss out on some bonuses unless you can spend 5 digits in 3 months.

Re: Spree vs Snail

I'm gonna miss out on all sign up bonusses... I don't expect to get the CSP or ihg bonus.

So the sign up bonusses are no reason to apply for me at all. (although the first spend bonus on the ihg is nice)

Which cards should I go for?

Preapprovals:
Barclay: Rewards (you may also be interested in Ring, Arrival Plus)

Amex: BCE, ED, Green, Gold

Cap1: QSone, Platinum

Citi: DC, AA plat select, TY Pref. (you may also be interested in TY Premier, Hhonors)

or something else?

This is quite sad. Congrats on the spree results, it indicates you have good credit.
