How many Cap One cards can you hold at one time?  I recently app'd for a platinum and received a message that you have too many cards so the application wasn't processed.  I only have the QS one and a secured card with them.

Why would you want a platinum card with no cashback rewards when you have a QS1??

Go to the Cap One prequalification page first and see what they offer you.

You can only have 2 of their Rebuilder type cards , those that fall in that category are QS1 Platinum and Secured, the prime cards would be the only ones you can app for now unless you close one out . You can try for QS , Venture One or Venture , and they have a new Dining rewards card now too , but you have to have "excellent " credit to get these as it says on their web page
