I was planning on holding off on this for a month or so, but after seeing a couple of other success stories of people here doing the same thing I went ahead and tried today.
Did a live chat with C1 and they had no problem upgrading me; it took about ten minutes. I did ask for a CLI as well, since C1 is by far my lowest limit, but they said since I received a credit steps CLI in September ($500 -> $750) then my account wasn't eligible at this time. I think I will try the EO and see if this is something they can do. I'm not too fussed about it since I don't use the C1 a whole heck of a lot, but it is my oldest card so I'd like to grow it where it is possible to do so.
