Synch/marvel question

Being that I have a Wal-Mart card. Not a Wal-Mart MC but just Wal-Mart card through sync with a $5k limit. Is there a good chance if me getting approved for a Marvel MC? Is it harder to get a MC through sync than a store card? Does or help that I have some history with them? Same bank right?

Re: Synch/marvel question

History helps but scores are important. Some Synch cards have higher underwriting than others. I believe Marvel and Ebates are the harder cards to get.

A good test would be the ability to get a walmart mastercard. Store approvals are for lower profiles.

Re: Synch/marvel question

Like the previous poster mentioned, store cards tend to have more laxed underwriting requirements.  Majors with Sync can be obtained but they're usually tied more to score than anything else in my experience.  From my time here on the forum vthe Marvel, PayPal, and sometimes OId Navy/TJ Maxx majors are a little easier to get than say the Sam's Club Mastercard.  The higher the TU score the better your chance are with Sync and majors.
