I got on chat in my husband's Synchrony Paypal account to try to get his SL raised. They only gave him $300 once activated, $200 currently. Synchrony just raised his AE visa to $10,000 so I thought I might have good luck. The lady in chat said it's a SP to ask for CLI before 60 days from date opened, but that if I request a CLI now the CLI would be added to $200 and not $300. She recommended waiting until after paying the first statement and that would increase DHs chances of CLI approval.
What do you guys think? Does this seem like accurate information?

What is your husbands TU?
If Synchrony gave him $10k on his AE Visa I suspect he's in good shape score-wise. If it were me I would still probably wait a month or so (to at least make a payment) then I would hit up Credit Solutions.
No need to ask for the stratosphere, but I believe they'll be able to do much better than regular customer service (phone or chat).

His TU FICO 8 is 762, but I imagine that’s going to drop some once his new credit cards hit. Hopefully not too much. Thanks for the input! I think I’ll wait the month.
Ah, he's golden.
After the first payment is made, have him call 877-379-8173. It will be a very short call, and he'll likely be able to get whatever he wants.
Note that I would personally use restraint, especially if additional Synch cards might be in his future. $10k wouldn't surprise me at all, though.
I just had a similar situation .... did he get the CLI ? or is it still in limbo? i just app'ed and got a whopping $300 limit.. was just going to wait for call and call to activate to see if it changes...
