The online request system has never worked for me, only Credit Solutions. I always get a message stating it cannot be requested online. Someone posted on the boards that this could be a Firefox vs. Safari thing, I have no idea. Would be interesting to try in Firefox as I currently use Safari.

I just want to give a big shout out to this forum and this thread in particular. I came here after I got the "We apologize for the inconvenience but we cannot process....." for the umpteenth time on my Walmart card. Google search took me straight here. I called the 877 number listed in a earlier post and here are the results:

Day 1

The number took me straight to a nice lady in underwriting who placed me on a brief hold to check my credit for a 600 to 2000 increase. Sure enough she came back after 2 minutes with "Congratulations we are able to approve your request" After that success I thought I'd throw the dice and get my Amazon store card from 1000 to 2500. Sweet as cake, I was approved after numerous CLI declines online!

Day 2

Thought I'd go ahead and push my luck on 2 more accounts the next day. Same process and same successful results.

PayPal Smart Connect. 600 to 2000
BP Gas Card 500 to.1000

My FICO scores are 650-660. All accounts are less than 2 years old. Chapter 7 bankruptcy was discharged less than 2 years ago.

Welcome to the forums and Congrats!!!

 

In my experience, it seems they don't allow you to get CLI's until your account is "eligible."  Whether it's the score going up, or more experience needed at the current limit, or anything else.  They just don't tell you that.  Instead they give you that message, and you wait for the letter.
