Nice to meet you all. I'm in the long journey of rebuilding my credit, post ch 7 a couple of years ago, and I wanted to look for a new product with good sign on bonus. So I went to TD bank's prequal site and entered my information and it came back as pre-approved for a number of products. However upon applying, I got the 7-10 business day message and I decided to call them to get an update on status of my application, only to be told it was denied. Their reps were very polite so I'm grateful for that, despite the denial. That being said, it was hard for them to deny my application despite having been pre-approved (not pre-selected) for multiple of their products. Just wanted to share my experience with others and pass it along as a PSA. Current scores are in the upper 680s and no lates or negatives other than the. Ch 7.
