Yah. Car loans seem to be the worse at that. The dealer pulls and the lender pulls.

you don't have to wait for the 3rd statement to get your first disco CLI, it works like this:
if your official sign up date was on aug5th, you can ask for a CLI after nov 5th.
and they want you to do a 3mo wait between each CLI request in this exact same way.
so if you asked for a CLI on nov6, you can ask again after feb6.
It's hard to understand Discover's methods. I just tried a CLI for the fun of it and got a small bump. I usually charge about $20 per month on this card and PIF.
Here's my data points/history since opening the card.
Discover Timeline:
Opened on April 25th, 2018 $5000
Credit Limit Increase on July 9th 2018 +1,500 = $6500
Credit Limit Increase on October 7th 2018 +3,000 = $9500
Credit Limit Increase on November 25th 2018 +200 = $9700
Credit Limit Increase on November 25th 2018 +50 = $9750 Double Dip
Credit Limit Increase on August 27th 2019 +2950 = $12,700

@creds - By sign up date you mean the date you were approved correct?
yeah i think its your approval day, you can call disco and ask them to be sure what all your dates are. they can also tell you for sure when you are eligible to ask for your cli. the phone support there is fast and easy to deal with.
