Re: Target credit card no limit increase

I love Target but hate the card. I had a Target Visa with a CL of $1500 for 13 years which never moved. No love at all despite 100 percent on time payments and good spend.

I do love, however, my Target Debit card. I still get the Redcard discount and I don't have to aggravate myself with their credit card.

Re: Target credit card no limit increase

if i dont see movement on this card in 2023 i will definitly be closing it down at the end of the year , the low limit is bringing down my average credit limit among all my cards significantly

Re: Target credit card no limit increase

I'm on board with what everyone is saying here. I've had my card since 2016. I've gotten one increase and it's stuck at $700. I've tried the leave a balance and then pay it off while updating the income monthly. It didn't work for me. I'm just tired of dealing with it. 5% isn't worth the trouble. It's one of my older cards so it's gonna ding my score to close it, but I really do just feel undervalued as a customer. My payment history has been flawless and I spend at least $300 a month there. My husband also has one with a $1,200 limit. We can't get his to go up either. I think I'm gonna close mine for now and just use his card instead. Or even just use one of my other cards for 2% and the Target Circle cash back.
