Per customer account, so you have to choose wisely which card you seek a CLI on. If you get a denial, it's 91 days for your entire account, not just the card itself. Same for a CLI approval, 181 days on that though.

Good Friday!  My 61 day mark was Wednesday but I decided to wait until today.  Decided to go with my Delta Gold, went from $2K to $6K yay!

Congrats!!! What else of theirs do you have? Now, ride that hard hard, so when it comes time for your next CLI, you can bump that baby up to 18k and then you'll really be doing the happy dance!!

Thank you and will do!  I have a BCE with them, approved same day for $1K, same night I was approved I got an email from Amex about an (auto?) increase:

I am in the market for a premium travel card, I have an offer for the Platinum so thinking about applying for that a few weeks before my trip...

Annual fee is now $550, so you might want to look for other travel cards.

If you ask Amex for more than 3x will it just decline you, or will it counter offer?

If you request too high of an amount, they may hit you with an income verification request. They may counteroffer you for what the 3X would be or whatever they want to give you at the time, but never more than 3X your existing limit.

Jumped the gun a little bit and tried to get the 3x CLI on day 60, called the support number (because I had miscalculated) and she said..."Uh, wait a day or two and then push the button". Hit it yesterday and got it! 1k-->3k! Woot!
