@Anonymous wrote:Hi Everyone,
I would like to see if i could get some advice on my thin file and what cards I have a chance at getting.
I currently have a Secured Bankamericard 1000 CLI, A Capital One Quicksilver one 300, and a Capital one Secured 300.
My Credit Karma score is 675 I have 10 inquires.
I was hopefully looking for a Barclays or a Chase maybe an Amex.
No negitive items on my report oldest card is from September 10
Thnaks
I'd wait until you generate a FICO score and then go from there, especially with Amex and Discover. I think they'd be the easiest for you to get your foot in the door with. Chase is generally around a year.

+1 i agree. but if op keeps going thru inquiries like that it will not matter even at 6 months. have a little patience and get it together. you will do yourself some justice then. its really not a sprint. but a marathon. there is a reason most of us tell people this. been there done that.
Gonna agree with everyone else - age your file, don't get any negative items, and doors will open. I started building my credit in March of this year with a secured card and with 2 months history I got declined for the Barclays Sallie Mae because of short history, which sucked but I stuck to waiting and it payed off. At 7 months history I got in with Barclays, Chase, Discover and Amex, all within a span of a month!
The wait sucks but stick to it and you'll be glad you did. Age your inquires and wait until you generate a FICO score before applying for anything!
