Time between CLI on Kohls Card

Received an auto CLI on Kohls card in October.  SL was only 300, auto increased to 700.  Is there an optimum timeframe/guideline on how long I should wait to request another CLI?  Really want to bolster some of these smaller limits.  Creating a spreadsheet on most recent CLI's and when I should be looking at them again.

Re: Time between CLI on Kohls Card

It's issued by Capital One, requesting before six months have past will (most likely) get you a denial letter.

I have not received an auto increase, but requested CLI three days in a row... third day was 6 month anniversary of account opening and CLI approval -- previous two days both denied for not enough time since opening.

Tried again a few weeks ago, recieved letter saying only eligible once every six months.

Re: Time between CLI on Kohls Card

Thanks for the info.  Adding the 6 month timeline to the spreadsheet.  I feel like a nerd, having a spreadsheet for this stuff, but if I'm gonna play a game, I play to win!

Re: Time between CLI on Kohls Card

Lol my very basic spreadsheet list that I started with has grown into a living entity of its own. It tracks everything, credit cards, 401(k), loans, rewards and progress toward them, CLI dates and amounts, etc. It calculates individual and aggregate usage based on balance info I enter, and how much to pay on each card to cross each know threshold of usage. It’s evolved on its own over time and now I have a snapshot of my finances at my fingertips. By all means, keep it going!

Dont feel like a nerd. Those in the know--like me--have had one for 3 years. And like ImTheDevil noted, it evolves over time and it's your financial info all in one place at-a-glance.
