Timing CLI requests

When timing days between cli requests(like Amex 3x) does requesting after 12am count as the next day in their system? Or is it better to request later into the day? Maybe I'm overthinking it, but wondering bc I'm getting impatient lol.

Re: Timing CLI requests

Much later in the day would be safe

Pretty sure most of these banks don't move to the next day until way past midnight in most places

I feel ya, today's my 91/3 for NFCU and I'm egggggcited to apply

Re: Timing CLI requests

Lenders might have a set time zone that they operate out of. Cli are like Christmas 🎁 but that doesn't mean to ask at 12 midnight.

Also factor what pull a creditor will obtain. Example is Amex and Cap 1 obtaining 30-60 day old reports.

YMMV, but I would wait at least 48 hours, and request just in case I need a reconsideration.

Re: Timing CLI requests

Different people have different strategies. Personally, I wait until 9AM PST. My logic in this is that it is then open banking hours in all time zones in the continental US. I'm sure it varies by FI when the actual reset takes place.

Re: Timing CLI requests

I've never had a problem asking for a CLI at 12;01.
