To Apply Or Not?

Hey Guys,

I just finished up some new applications. Starting with the 50k AA promotion, also PenFed for CLI and APR Reduction, NASA for LOC (up in the air), DCU CLI and APR Reduction, and Capital one Venture & Another Quicksilver.....

For Capital One I had been pre qualified for all 3 prime cards, going back and forth between the lowest tier interest rate and mid tier, after doing my other applicaitons the mid tier was all that would come up. Went ahead and hit Venture last Monday or Tuesday and couldnt believe it, got the 7-10 message and unsure why. Tonight I got an email saying im approved for $30k.

I would still like the Quicksilver too, do you all think I am silly or have a chance?

Thanks in advance!

Re: To Apply Or Not?

Not knowing your income, Ttere's always a chance.  Ask yourself a few questions:  If you get denied, can you handle three extra pulls, same as approved, if you have no purchases coming up like mortgages etc. give it a whirl if the prequal still pops up.  Another question is if you just want the card or could actually use it.  I do see you already have a QS in your siggy.  You certainly have nice scores.  Depending on your situation, if it's a "why the hell not I have nothing to lose" situation, why the heck not.  Then if you're approved combine them down the road.
