HI all. Got approved for a Lowes $700 and a Walmart MC $1200 in October and called credit solutions and asked for a CLI immediately upon receiving the cards. I was denied on both, and both letters stated "no activity on account" as the reason for the denial. I had 731 TU at the time. I have since made purchases  $125 Lowes & $1,000 Walmart and PIF on both cards, and have waded through a billing cycle. Do you think that is is possible that a CLI may be granted at this time from what you have experienced? Also can you share  whether your success came from calling CS, luv button, or chat? My TU has slipped a bit to 715 and I have a ton of inquiries (15) due to a credit spree earlier this year.

What's the hurry here?  

When I was getting fed up with my Sam's MC experience and dealing with the button and CS (US) not doing squat and was about to close the account I stumbled upon several threads showing success calling the overseas CS #.  After being stuck at the same limit for 2+ years and frustrated with no movement even with monthly use and everything else they want to see I finally tried one last time over the phone.

I guess the moral of the story is..... Persistence and patience.... good things come to those who wait.
