How bad will it look on my credit report if I apply for two credit cards within two days? How soon am I suggested to apply for a new one after this? 3 months?
First off, welcome to our little corner of the internet
Now to your question, noone can answer that question without a little more information, such as how long have you had credit, number of accounts, credit card goals, etc
As a general rule, 2 inquiries in a 2 day span will not hurt you. There are people here that have applied for 2 cards within 5 minutes of each other. You can browse our boards and try looking for "app spree" or "new to credit"
Good luck

I think it really depends on your profile. How many cards do you have before that application and when were they opened?
Generally I think 2-3 cards every 6 months should be ok to start off, you can defnitely apply for one more but discuss with us about your plan etc. You can always become more aggressive later on. I would then recommend clustering 4-6 cards every 6months rather than applying 2-3 cards every 3 months as next step. Of course, if you only want sign-on bonus, you should time your applications right. Preferably only apply when there are ones with high sign up bonus on the SAME day so that inquiries could age off at the same time.
Definitely give Chase Sapphire Researve (CSR) or Preferred card some thoughts if you have less than 5 cards opened for the past 2 years - check your credit report for free as authorized users might be counted towards this number. CSR's 100k bonus (with 450 annual fee but 300 travel credit each year) lasts only until beginning of March for in-branch application.
