Was wondering how reliable this is ?
I was on the phone setting up a savings account and when we finished, she said I was preapproved for a Cash plus card with a 2k credit line and she read all the disclosures and said if you accept you will hear something in 7-10 days. I accepted the offer.
Does Anyone know if these are reliable?
From what I've read U.S. Bank prequals with a set APR and/or a specific credit line (like when you open a savings/checking account) are said to be solid.
My own U.S. Bank Cash+ was opened just last month with a prequal from their website (set APR only, no limit was given until it was manually reviewed, as most of their apps are.)
I suspect you'll be hearing good news in a few days. ![]()
Congratulations on getting in with US Bank!
Congrats!
Congrats!!! Hope you get a descent SL!

So, what were the results?

US Bank was very good to me when I was their customer. Gave me a good apr on an auto refinance back in 2004. Congrats on your approval.
