I'm looking to app for a US Bank card next year when I'm at 0/12, and the thought crossed my mind...from what I understand, Chase will SP your credit report after you get a card with them and possibly rescind their offer of credit based on you getting too many cards. Does US Bank have a record of doing the same? I'm planning on apping for at least 3 cards on the same day or so.
I do not know the answer, but I would not expect it to end well for one or two of the three cards ... good luck!
Are you referring to 3 different USBank credit cards? Or 3 different bank cards?
if all usbank credit cards. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is period of waiting between apps for usbank cards.
Us bank has been known to review apps after approval. You should ask the socks queen, @Remedios

I wouldn't tempt fate and apply for 3 cards on the same day.
Meant 3 different cards; I'm interested in two US Bank cards, but for now the only one I want is the Cash+
It'd end up being one card for each bureau (except whichever 2nd bureau US Bank pulls)

Do you mean applying for 3 cards on the same day, period or 3 cards including a US Bank card? I've applied for multiple cards on the same day multiple times with success, but if it's better to do it along a week-long period or something, I can do that.
My main thing is at that point I'll have reached 0/12, so I'd rather just get the inquiries out of the way (and have my new accounts start aging) than spread it over a month or two.
@Remedios it sounds like you're the US (Socks) Bank expert! Can you advise as to the best course of action here? The card I want an approval for no matter what is the US Bank Cash+ card, the other cards would be my first cards with Penfed and First Tech FCU, respectively. Thanks!

Both US Bank and Chase are known to look askance at that type of thing.
My results may not be typical, so YMMV if you attempt applying for multiple cards along with a USB card.
In January of last year after closing on my mortgage, I app'd for 4 cards with USB Go being my #2 target. Below is a timeline:
So, when USB pulled my credit in January I appeared to be 0/12.
By March, I appeared to be 4/12 or even 5/12 (I think Amex didn't report to the CRA's for a couple of months, though).
By June, I appeared to be 7/12 when looking at my CRA's.
I remember seeing USB doing SP on my credit for several months after being approved, but even with all that activity they didn't seem to be concerned enough to close my account. I did open a checking account after getting my GO ($400 SUB was too enticing), maybe that helped calm them a bit?
