Maybe I'm missing something, but my experience with FICOs 8, 9, 10, and 10T are a tad different than what many here are stating; as a general rule my FICO 9 scores are the highest, followed by 10T, with FICOs 10 and 8 roughly on par with each other and always my lowest of the scores.
Here are my most recent scores as an example:
Model | EQ | TU | EX |
FICO 8 | 788 | 788 | 791 |
FICO 9 | 833 | 815 | 800 |
FICO 10 | 787 | 783 | 792 |
FICO 10 T | 791 | 791 | 798 |
What am I missing?
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
@Horseshoez Mine aren't too far off either. For sh***s and giggles I added 5, 4, 2 as well.
I'm on a dirty profile with my BK7 filing about 7.5yrs ago and do find it interesting that my 10T scores back in March 2023 were not that far off where they are now, just from micromanaging what was then a much weaker profile. I was at EQ 720, TU 711 , EX 707 despite that weaker profile of:
March 2023: 3 cards on my report (4th card wasn't reporting yet), AZEO with 1% util, $8300 total CL. 1/6, 2/12 on inquiries
June 2025: 7 cards , 3 /7 reporting a balance, 6.7% utilization, $58,700 total CL, 1/6, 1/12 on inquiries.
Over 2yrs of PIF every month since then and a thicker profile, but only marginally better score because I'm not micromanaging.
@Zoostation1, throwing 5, 4, 2 into the mix adds a new low for my scores:
Model | EQ | TU | EX |
FICO 5, 4, 2 | 770 | 772 | 791 |
FICO 8 | 788 | 788 | 791 |
FICO 9 | 833 | 815 | 800 |
FICO 10 | 787 | 783 | 792 |
FICO 10 T | 791 | 791 | 798 |

They use both, each for a different reason. Apparently the FICO models aren't good predictors of bust out fraud, so US Bank needed to bust out a big turd.
@JoeRockhead wrote:Some of the assumptions here about Fico 10 are incorrect. Fico 10 is not based on trending data, that would be Fico 10T.
- Fico 10 is a general scoring model, based on a current snapshot and traditional data much like Fico 8 and 9. Revolving UT has no memory.
- Fico 10T uses trended data based on the past 24 months of credit usage.
While 10T will allow revolving UT to have a "memory", AZE1 will remain a relevant way for someone to have influence over their scores based on a longer (24 month) history of reported usage. One could still manipulate revolving utilization scoring by playing more of the long game when practicing AZE1 in order to reflect it's full influence on 10T.
Good points on 10 vs 10T. AZE1 has less influence on F9 than F8 and less on F8 than F04/F98. I don't get a F10 score but the models have been adding more impact to card UT, AG UT and AG balance while reducing importance relating to # of cards with balances. As it should be - imo.
F10T can trend aggregate balance not just aggregate utilization. Adding cards and CLIs to lower utilization won't hide an increasing balance trend. I suspect Fico may smooth the trended data before scoring to avoid unnecessarily eratic score fluctuations. In other words it may use time a weighted average for total balance such as: trended AG balance = .5x(current bal) + .35×(month prior bal)+ .15x(two month prior bal).
P.S. I'm all for abolishing the AZEO acronym. We should standardize on AZ, AZE1, AZE2 ...

Where do you guys get 10 and 10t?

From the Scores on the myFICO Member Center page; I don't know if everyone gets them, but I have the Premier membership which definitely includes them.

Although it's off topic, I'm also all for this, and going to use it this way going forward as it just seems easier to understand.
The other (selfish) reason is it will keep @ptatohed from coming at me for mixing up an O for a 0, then I don't have to point out that he STILL hasn't fixed his siggy.
I say you keep the peer pressure on.
