USB CLI over $25k….

Has everyone received CLI thru SP over $25k? As many people know that Wells Fargo does offer CLI thru soft pull in every 4 months but then when anything over total $25k then they want to have hard pull and manual review by an underwriter...So, I wanna know if USB does the same? I already have $25k CL on Altitude Go card and contemplating a CLI but doesn't want a hard pull and definitely don't want underwriter to get involved....Thus, wondering if anyone has ever received a CLI over $25k thru SP....Thanks

Well while you're waiting lol questions for you:

how do you like the altitude go and having a trade line with them in general? I'm opening a checking to take advantage of the $600 bonus and later this year my scores will be in the 700s and I'll have better chance of being approved. I'd also consider the shoppers card bc we're renovating and could take advantage of the 6% at improvement stores.

Re: USB CLI over $25k….

I'm generally very happy with USB's CC offerings.  I like the website and mobile apps. The rewards and AF's make for a great value proposition. I've had a mix of soft pulls and hard pulls with underwriting.  They are generally pretty conservative with CLI's and SL though in my experience. It took me 2yrs to grow my AR from 5k to 23k, where as WF Autograph SL was 22k.  So there's that. Overall I'd recommend them.

I do like all the cards from US bank...I have one business card and two personal cards with US bank...As for Altitude go then its a good card but honestly I got this card because of its attractive look...I found it to be very unique and so eye-catching...red in color with large Go logo in white color...and I also liked its SUB but I wasn't able to explore all of its benefits as much as I should have been because I was so busy with all other cards for meeting SUB on them...However, I did use a lot one of their cards which is Altitude Connect...I used many of its benefits and juicy SUB too...And I also used for paying fees for Global entry pass, and it has very attractive travel insurance which you normally get thru big shot cards with hefty AF...its 5x rewards card...

In general, US bank is very conservative and cheap when it comes to SL, but not its sister company-Ellan Fiancial...As for CLI from US bank then I find it very good as I have always received instantly $5k increase as a SP and without the involvement of underwritter. Each time the same amount of increase I have received in last 2 and half years...One can not expect US bank to be Navy Federal wherein you receive $8k increase on average each time...Thus, $5k increase in every 7 months is not bad...I also started out my Altitude Go card with $5k CL, but now I have $25k CL and due now for another increase...don't know if further CLI over $25k would be instant and SP, which is why I am gathering datapoint on it.

My business cards were also started out with a very low CL but last month I was able to get 100% CLI on both business cards...Now they have a healthy CL...Thanks God...

Good luck if you try. I was on the phone with them the other day. Do really like the Reserve. I asked about a product change. No dice. Which seems kind of odd to me as others have managed to product change. She said I would have to apply. Bowed out of that. I will try again after the 1 year mark. One thing I do like about USB, they do make some nice offers like bt offers as a relatively new member. About 2 weeks away here from trying a sp cli. I doubt it will happen being 3 in 12. 1 is theirs. Will be an interesting shot at any point to see if checking there can pull it out. 😉

Re: USB CLI over $25k….

As you guys know that I have $25k CL on my Altitude credit card with US bank, and its been 8 months I never asked for any CLI and its been due for the last month....I came on here a few days ago to ask/see if there is any datapoint on receiving instant CLI via SP over $25k without the involvement of underwriter and HP, but unfortunately I found no any datapoint on it nor anyone came forward to report their experience in this respect....So, I tried by myself for the science and here is the datapoint...

I tried to get CLI over $25k as SP online without speaking to representative, and right away I got the message that my application for CLI is under review and I would hear from them in 7-10 days...Its still pending and I would hear from them the disposition of it in a few days. However, I believe its a datapoint that over $25k CL, US bank doesnt want to give you instant, SP and without reviewing your account by underwriter...which means our application/request would go for review by the underwriter and it would be HP as well whenever a CLI would go over $25k on the account. I immediately received a notification from EX about the HP which was not the case all these years when I was receiving instant CLI....

@Janneman Thank you for volunteering to test the CLI process for over $25k.  It's unfortunate that a hard pull was recorded, though it might be worth it if the request is ultimately successful.  My 5 month old Reserve is at $20k (the SL), so I am very interested in hearing about your eventual outcome.  Good luck!
