I thought it was a denial for sure. Called the number (800-947-1444) to check the status and got same automated response. I searched for relevant posts here and found it might take few days before they will withdraw the deposit amount from my checking account. I called the number again and speak with a rep. She verified all the info and said application it still pending and decision has not been made yet. She also said make sure that you've sufficient funds in checking account as USBank will attempt the payment anytime within 1-3 business days.
Today, I checked my checking account and seen $500 deducted by USBank, which seems to be good news for me.
I am working on rebuilding my credit, but wanted to get this card as I can take advantage of USBank Checking Account fee waiver.
Also applied for CapitalOne Platinum at the same time and approved for $300 limit (had pre-approved offers for Platinum and QuickSilverOne with AF). Mentioning this, I have two CapitalOne CO Cards on my report. I'm glad to get back with them.
