USbank prequal question

How solid are the prequalification/recommended offers with USbank? I was recommened for the platinum card. I use to get no offers from them.

Thanks!

Re: USbank prequal question

I have 3 of their credit cards. All were pre-qual on their website. No rewards on the platinum so I wouldn't suggest that one myself

Re: USbank prequal question

My experience equaled success with two pre-quals.

I don't have any cards with them, but from what I've read and seen, they are pretty solid. You just want to remember that they don't mean guaranteed approval.

Re: USbank prequal question

Pre-equals with US bank is pretty solid. But as other poster said, platinum is useless card, I recently pced it to Amex 365. I had 3 out of 3 prequal success with them.

As RM21 said pre-approvals are not a guaranty of approval but it the Platinum is the only card they have for you you can always PC it to another card after a few months I opened a Platinum in July of last year PC'd it to a FlexPerks in September and then to a Cash+ Visa this May but as always YMMV.
