I just checked my Transunion and Equifax accounts, and do not see any soft pulls from Chase, so I am guessing that the pre-approved offer is not real, however, I will be signing up for Credit Journey sometime soon and then I can see if Chase has any offers for me. :-)

just an fyi... when I got my Chase card I didn't know I had to signup for credit journey to start it. When I did figure it out and signed up, it took a while before it actually started to show anything. So you may want to sign up ahead of time to be sure its working when you want to use it.

I signed up for it last Monday, so I now have 2 scores in my history (733 last week and 752 this week). While it was working, their pre-approval site showed pre-approvals for Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, and Slate. It seems to be broken right now, as does the section that make offers based on Credit Journey and the section that offers a plan to increase one's score.

@ThomasJNewton,

Right now Chase is having "Technical Difficulties" as posted in another thread.

I am sure they will get it resolved in a reasonable amount of time.

There are some soft inquiries from Experian, so I guess it is possible. After registering for Credit Journey, for the short time that Pre-approvals were working, I was offered Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, and Slate, but not Quest or Explorer. Maybe it is real. :-)

Still broken. I am not sure Wonder how long a "reasonable amount of time" will be. :-D I know in general the following definitions seem to apply:

I am waiting for you: A reasonable amount of time is under 1 minute.

You are waiting for me: A reasonable amount of time is from now until just before H*ll freezes over.
