Usaa credit card application pending

Hey everyone, maybe I can get some info or opinions on this. I applied for the usaa Amex card. First app was denied for ID verification. Called them to see if I could do anything. Basically just went through another application with a rep. He came back on the phone and said everything was fine and I would receive something out a decision maybe in 5-7 days. It's been 5 or 6 days and I haven't heard anything and it's killing me lol. Any thoughts or experience with this? Thank you

Typically if/when approved you should be able to see it display on your USAA online dashboard.  Otherwise, just give it a few more days and check the status again.

Thank you. I've been checking. Do you have any experience or knowledge of the 5-7 days message?

I wouldn't read too much into it (bad or good).  It's simply their standard processing message.  From what I've read, applications have been approved or rejected with that message.  Give things a little time.

Sure, anytime.  If you don't see anything online or hear of any updates by Monday, definitely reach out to them.  It's fairly possible they may have sent you a letter to verify some information.
