Roman, did you have to send DL to Chase for verification? With your short history, i call it a huge success
I just gave my lease agreement for address verification. But did not matter because I called the number handling this and got verified by phone since they take ages to recieve the fax document. ![]()
Guys. I got to view the document that stated my denial. It showed too many enquiries across all my credit bureau and length of history based on equifax report. Do not know whether to go in for recon or not. But will do based on recommendation from a forum member.

As mentioned earlier if that is the only reason mentioned most likely it is your short credit history with 40kish in CL's which is very good, they are NOT inquiry sensitive. You certainly can email to EO just do google search for "capital one ceo email address" and write a well composed message about what happened, They will get back to you within around 2-7 days and then explain your situation in more detail and it will go into manual review. You took the 3 hp's, mise well; nothing to lose.
Hi Guys. Based on feedback I wrote a letter to capital one CEO and today got a call from Eric an awesome EO. He patiently listened to my credit history and how I came a long way to raise my credit line in a short time. I explained him on my on time payments and that I really wanted to apply for a auto loan after getting this card. He gave me two options either take the credit line increase on my quicksilver one card or send my venture card application to an underwriter for further review. Throughout the phone call he spoke on how he also preferred to use his card for gaining on travel rewards and capital one venture does it the best on redeeming them easily. He asked for my employment information, income and rent. He said if approved I would be able to see the venture account alongside my quicksilver account in 5-7 days.
Guys what do you think now on this. What are my chances ? Hope to be approved for the venture and if approved its staright to the garden. But after my Auto loan that is
.
Hi Roman ,, I think you have taken and your determination into he right direction :smileyhappy. Regardless of past issues I been with Cap 1, far complicated than this ,but the good thing You reach out to cap one E.O and made a great effort and getting a response back this quick really means took you seriously and sincere,
(The rest is up to you to follow through,) only issue will be your income, which i feel wont be a problem, at least you got your foot into the door. just make sure you keep them approvals well watered in the garden, Good Job

Thanks NY2014. The EO called me and left a voice mail just half hour ago. I called back and spoke to this wonderful chap who also wanted to see me get approved. I told him that I do not carry a card that gives travel reward benefits and point structure like how the venture does and how my AMEX ED or other cards do not carry this point system. Hope to get approved. Will keep this post updated on this.
