Venture ID Verification?

I was originally rejected for both venture's at the tail end of a 3 card app spree(CSP and BCP), reconned both, got one rejection letter for the venture 1 via email after the second time, Venture rejection never came so i called up to see what gives. Was told i needed to Provide proof of Identity due to a fraud alert on exp and eq, which i just faxed in yesterday. With the holliday being today i'd assume there would be no news at all.

Has anyone ever had to go through this process, and if so what was your result? Does this look good for me?

I had one approved, but I got a call from Cap1's Fraud Dept making sure it was me applying. I would say if they are asking for verification that is a good sign.

That would be so awesome, they do have to resubmit the app though, because 'i didn't send them in a timely manner' although i was never even aware the recon wanted ID verification. I hope this works, i'll call in tomorrow. Have any of you had to verify? It was social, residency, etc.

Its pretty common. Once they get the Documents you will be good to go.

I app'd 7/5 and had to verify. Had card by 7/21.

Sweet. Thanks for the info guys. I'll definitely be calling in tomorrow to see if they got it(and the next day...and so on...) after the (hopeful) approval I'm going to see if they can redo the Venture One also. Find it hard to believe they can approve the higher one and not the other

i had the same thing happen. i answered a few questions and had the card a few days later.

You only had to call rather than send paperwork in ? Mine's is already sent, and I'll send more if necessary. Just wonder why some can be verified over phone. Amex. Verified via phone.

I had to verify my QS1 app with documents....and they never told me that they wanted them....I just ended up calling after a couple of months to see why I didn't get the card, and they told me then that they wanted social and DL to verify identity. Not all the cylinders are always firing at Capital1 when it comes to CS. Probably because they deal with so much volume that requires verification of people's first CC apps.
