If you can get approved for it, Venture has a much better SUB than VentureOne (enough to come out pretty far ahead after subtracting the $95AF compared to VentureOne).

Best wishes on getting a clear answer to your ?
@SweetCreditObsession Now that reports have updated I'm getting a recommendation for Venture + bonus but VentureOne for "good credit" only. Isn't Venture on the excellent credit level? Do you think I have a decent chance for VentureOne + bonus? All these Cap One tiers and different pre-approvals are confusing. 😖
I'd lean no, but if you apply for it, I imagine it will kick you back for an offer without the SUB if they can't give you the SUB if you're deadset against the Venture
is the venture SUB well beyond any upcoming spending you have?
Thank you both! After pulling reports I've decided to wait until next year when circumstances improve. FICO's are all over the place. EX - 638, 5 lates and 1 collection reporting until 2024 / TU - 670, collection reporting but no lates, EQ - 720, no lates, no collection
Rather work on getting utilization under 10%, let the lates and collection age off then consider applying for goal cards next year vs rollling the dice with Cap One for a card I don't absolutely need right now. Appreciate the help!
@49erFaithful85, I agree that the various tiers are confusing. I think you've got a good shot at an approval. I like your strategy to let your scores improve more before applying. You're setting yourself up for an approval in the future. Best wishes 😁
