I've never had Synch before Verizon. They pulled TU and Experian for me. Glitch prevented access to TU, so approved on EXP, but had all 3 bureaus unfrozen.
I've never heard of any lender other than Capital One doing a triple pull for a CC.
There are multiple double pull apps in search.
Along with a couple triple pulls. Like this one
Would it make sense to freeze Experian on my end? I've also read of several people who had a report frozen and Synchrony completely disregarded and went to the next available one OR Synchrony never even made it to the frozen report. However, I thought a frozen report would automatically disqualify you? I'm just curious to know, really, what triggers the system to go beyond the TransUnion report. I plan on reaching out to Synchrony again tomorrow to discuss what the Verizon Representative told me, and see what Synchrony has to say. I noticed the triple pull (from the link above) got a $6,000 credit limit for the Verizon Visa card. That's one of the highest limits I've seen, yet.

That's news to me. Hadn't heard of Synch doing triple pulls. I wonder why they're doing it for this card only? Or perhaps cause of the pandemic? ![]()
OP, we can't advocate or discuss freezing bureaus in order to try to force a lender to pull a different one on here, as it's against the rules.
TU for me, and good luck.

That's a fact. They approved me for
thr Verizon visa with 22 inquiries. Half about a year old.
They got a triple on me and I have high scores 800 range. So it has nothing to do with borderline profiles, etc.. Not sure what logic they are using.
Hmm, all very odd. Thanks again for the input, everyone. I will find out soon enough.
Experian and trans union for me
