So I applied for Cap1 cc and they asked me to send a copy of DL and SSN, I made very clear copy of the documents and next day air them, well today I called and was informed that after they scanned the documents they were too dark to read, really? how can this be? You would think the person scanning the doc's would have enough common sense to use a different scanner? Now I'm getting bs, and asked to resend. If they couldn't make out a perfect copy, why waste my time?
I would scan the docs and re-send. No need to pay for Next day air! A lot of CC companies are now doing this to help prevent fraud. I had to do the same with my recent DC approval.

I would have no choice but to re-send , at the moment just pissed!! that someone would scan something that's clear to read, but dark after scanning and just left it that way. I mean do your job, can't be that hard to scan doc's ?
Do you have a branch near you that you could go and do this?

No, I don't , the jerk who scanned the doc's should be fired, I wish there was a number to report them. This is my 3rd app with cap1, each time I sent the same copy with no problem.

They don't have an option to email or fax it in?
They did have. They took mine away. The can email you and I think you can answer. That's it.
