Get used to it, buddy. The more applications, the more rejections. Can't get upset about it.
Even if you're a ten out of ten, 85% of the women at the bar are going to reject you. Can't take it personally, they all have their own reasons which, most of the time, have nothing to do with you.
Neither Wells nor Chase nor Bank of America will give me a card under any circumstances. Been trying for years. Guess what, I still have deposit accounts with all of them. Who cares?
Interesting data points. Maybe WF does not want people that carry balances (we all have our reasons). It would be interesting if you try again after PIF every month for the past 6 months.

banks get skittish when you start having avail credit equal to your income.
but they are stupid to deny you with that score. Citi has denied me at 690, 730 and even 790.
see if you prequal for the OneKey card if you would like to. They tell you CL before accepting with just a soft pull. That'll give you an idea of how WF operates. Obviously it sounds like you just dont want to deal with them and I dont blame ya.
Sometimes I feel like scores don't matter any more. Maybe they wanted to see more util? I have a friend with a Citi card that gets BT offers constantly and he has 800+ ficos and 1-2% util.
It varies. I seen those who were denied, even when they're not carrying any balance or those who are in the 800 credit score group. It just WF's algorithm is trash unless it's inquiry sensitive.

WF doesnt seem to like those of us with alot of cards and only a few reporting balances here and there. Have a feeling I would have been denied for the Autograph Journey if I went for the non-premier version. Premier version went to pending for a good while, so I think it was manually approved maybe by a premier banker.
