Thanks @swampy99, this is what I was kind of expecting to hear. Thank you for sharing that. I am happy to finally qualify and get both at this point. Another few mos won't hurt.

Re: Walmart Pre-qualify in the mail

congrats, try to recon for a higher SL when you find out your limit.

Synch is known to be strange and give some card holders big increases often while putting the brakes on increasing others (even with better profiles) so you just never know.

Mine started at $150 and went to $2500 in 2 months via CS call, then $3300 via luv button 4 months after that.

If you reciepts are over $150 then it really is a 0% card on all spend (even grocery) and up to 24 months on slightly larger purchases.

Received a Wal-mart pre-qualify letter in the mail, considering my FICO scores below, is it worth the HP?

I just ran myfico and here it is:

EQ = 625

TU = 640

XP = 650

I would love to add this card to my mix, but there are 2 open CO on my CR and a repo, if I don't have a shot let me know.  I know prequalify does not mean pre-approved.  I know I have to be getting closer.

Thanks....

Wouldn't it be better to just use a cashback/travel credit card at Walmart? The Walmart credit card doesn't seem very lucrative with its rewards. Are there hidden benefits or something?
