Re: Want to App for Chase Freedom Unlimited

I just got approved for the card with AAoA 11 months only 4 months history with credit cards. I also tried to applied for their amazon card back in June and was declined because I had no revolving accounts. So YMMV but the freedom unlimted seems much easier to get, I expected a very low sl when I applied my thought was to use it with a low limit for 3 months so I would have a chance with a higher limit when I reapply for the amazon card but I was given $1800 sl which is my highest.

Re: Want to App for Chase Freedom Unlimited

I would wait until your CF is 6-7 months old before you go for the FU. That way you have a nice track of on-time payments if not PIF.

I agree. I would wait until 180+ days and 6 statements have posted until I applied for your best chance of success.

Your FICO credit scores are not just numbers, it’s a skill.
