Wells Fargo Cash Wise Pre-qual in Mail - 29 mos post BK7

Hello,

I received a Wells Fargo prequal in the mail for the Cash Wise.  Offer states 15 mos 0% and $150 after $500 spend in 3 months.  I am 29 mos post BK7 but have rebuilt quite well.  Aggreate UTIL is 15%.  

Does anyone have any insight on approval odds or how solid wells snail mail prequals are?  I applied for this card one year as it showed up in my "offers" page through online checking but was denied.  Spoke with senior credit anlayst who stated decline was due to BK7 and was able to squeeze out of her WF had 2 year post BK rule for unsecured products so was unable to recon.

I have also heard WF pulls EX FICO 02.  Is this still the usual?  Stats are below:

EQ 680 EX 655 TU 665: 15% aggregate util.  10 inq on EX in past 12 months

When I applied for Wells Fargo about 6 mos ago, they pulled EQ, so YMMV.

Can't speak to how solid their pre-qualifies are...but based on what you have written (BK past the 2 year mark that a previous underwriter mentioned and getting a pre-qualify), I would go for it if I were you. Also, when I applied a few months ago they pulled EX.
