Don't you have to have a checking account with Dcu to get a credit card from them?

The 692 is from myfico and that's a current score it's been 692 for several months now and hasn't changed, and I'm rebuilding my credit and I don't use my cards only very little, my utilization is about 7% I just want to have the open credit while I can obtain it for a rainy day when I might need it! a few years back times got ruff and I had to pawn my car title for a loan for $3500 and ended up paying back about $7000 on a 12 month loan and I don't ever plan on doing anything like that again

Re: What credit card is a good card to apply for using equifax 692 Fico

I'm not so concerned with apr either like I said I don't carry over any balances, I more interested in getting approved and not wasting any of my hard pulls, so I'm just looking for some feedback on which cards you think I might have a good chance for getting approved for with a decent line of credit

i already have a commentiy bank marathon card, I was thinking I might have a good chance with them like

sportsman guide visa?  Or Fuel rewards comenity MasterCard?

im sure I could get a capital one card like the classic or quicksilver, maybe even venture one but then I'll have to take 3 hits I was thinking I might wait a few months with them.

the discover card I'm rather discouraged after reading some feedback on others who were denied by them, they don't like new accounts, and what's a new account under 1 year?  If so I have 5 new accounts but none within the last 6 months.

As long as they don't have any fees I can just let them sit there, use them for small purchases get a good relationship going with other creditors and have credit available in case I need it, I plan on canceling most of the cards I have, like I already canceled openskycc and next month after I see there's no bad effect on my scores I'll close merrick bank as well, down the road I will also close first premier bank
