What does reconn mean

I applied for a Walmart card today and got message should hear something in 10- 14 days.  Read where someone reconned before the10 days and was approved. Not sure how to do that?

There are certain banks, upon receiving a denial, you can call them for reconsideration on their decision, aka, recon. This usually requires answering questions on your credit profile etc. 

Im not aware that Sync (bank that offers the Walmart credit card), can be reconned, but I could be wrong.

It's been said that synchrony does not do reconsiderations.

That being said CHAT is always been a favorite method of choice for many good results and if no joy give it some time (and usage/PIF) and make absolutely sure you do whatever you can to raise your FICO TU Score.

They watch that like a hawk and positive movement upwards on that generally improves your chances everytime.
