What's my next move?

I would say I'm very confident over the phone, however the accent sometimes leads to misunderstanding. I have no problem with persuasion and selling myself as a low risk. However, I dont want to wast a HP if my chances are very slim. Im aware of the recon process and I went through the same process with Discover.

Should I take the pre qualified site with a pinch of salt? Are there any other cards that I would have a stronger chance with. I'm looking to app august 1. I did receive all the offers from BofA but they are not as close to being as appealing as Chase.

If you are looking to apply August 1st then defiantely go for it.  Yes, take pre-qualified site with a pinch salt...  The accent should actually give you an edge.  As long as you pronounce certain things the American way emphatically and slowly, you will be fine..

But you should be able to get the card.

Ok thank you, I'm gonna stay patient and go for the CSP. Would it help to take my CC balances to 0 for a month before applying? Or should I just keep good usage and carry a small balance?

Very good plan on keeping your eye on the tiger - CSP.  Before you apply, have 1%-9% reporting on your card..
